# Disclaimer

**Gebruik van de stuurautomaat**

De stuurautomaat is bedoeld als hulpmiddel bij het besturen van een vaartuig, maar vervangt nooit de verantwoordelijkheid van de schipper of bemanning. Het systeem is afhankelijk van de correcte werking van sensoren, stroomvoorziening, netwerkverbindingen en externe gegevensbronnen (zoals GPS en windgegevens).

De fabrikant of leverancier is **niet aansprakelijk voor schade, letsel of verlies** die voortkomt uit het gebruik of falen van deze stuurautomaat, ongeacht de omstandigheden.

De gebruiker is te allen tijde verantwoordelijk voor:

* het actief **monitoren van de koers en omgeving**;
* het **tijdig ingrijpen** wanneer de situatie dit vereist;
* het **correct installeren en configureren** van het systeem.

Gebruik de stuurautomaat **alleen onder geschikte weers- en vaaromstandigheden**, en zorg ervoor dat u het systeem vooraf test en begrijpt hoe het reageert.
