Android / iOS app
You can easily operate and configure the Pcnautic Autopilot using the Android or iOS app.

Configure IP Address
By default, the app attempts to access the web interface via the IP address 192.168.14.1.
Does your Controlhead use a different IP address? No problem. You can easily change this via the “Gear” icon in the app. The corresponding settings screen will then appear. Enter the correct IP address and select “Save.”

Demo Mode
Do you not (yet) own a Pcnautic Autopilot, or are you not on board but would still like to experience how the app works? In that case, you can enable “Demo Mode.”
In this mode, all relevant data — such as the compass rose, heading information, and system status — are displayed based on simulated data. This gives you a realistic impression of the system’s functionality and operation.
An active internet connection is required to use Demo Mode.
When Demo Mode is enabled, the app clearly displays the message “Demo mode enabled”, so it is always visible that the data shown is simulated.
Smartwatch (BLE) Broadcasting
The Pcnautic Autopilot App allows you to connect a smartwatch — both Wear OS (Android) and Apple Watch are supported — to the autopilot. This enables you to view real-time heading information and operate the autopilot directly from your wrist.
To enable this functionality, activate “Smartwatch (BLE) Broadcasting” within the app.
On the smartwatch itself, Bluetooth must be selected as the connection mode. Once Bluetooth is active, the smartwatch will automatically connect to a smartphone or tablet running the Pcnautic Autopilot App with BLE broadcasting enabled.
When the connection is established, the control buttons on the smartwatch are automatically activated, allowing the autopilot to be operated from the watch.
Garmin Connect IQ
To connect a Garmin smartwatch, enable Garmin Connect IQ here.
For proper operation, the following requirements apply:
The Garmin Connect IQ app must be installed on your smartphone.
The Pcnautic Autopilot-app must be installed on your Garmin smartwatch (available via the Garmin Connect IQ Store).
Communication between the Pcnautic Autopilot and your Garmin smartwatch takes place via the Garmin Connect IQ app on your smartphone. This app handles the background data exchange between the Autopilot and the watch.
Once Garmin Connect IQ is enabled and both apps are properly installed, the connection will be established automatically.
