Signal Connections
The Signal Connections view allows configuring connection to other devices over NMEA2000 and USB.
NMEA-2000/SeaTalk NG
This section allows configuration of the connection to the NMEA2000 bus. All messages received by the device are automatically decoded and made available to networked devices or an autopilot connected in Ethernet mode.
The connection can be enabled or disabled using the Enable checkbox.
Sender presets allow configuring information that is transmitted on the NMEA2000 bus. By default, "All" is selected, which will transmit all information that is received on inputs other than NMEA2000.
USB
This section allows configuring the USB connection. By default this is configured as "Ethernet", which will emulate an Ethernet adaptor. This is always the recommended mode. If, however, a serial connection is needed at any point, this can be configured here. The Baud-rate is automatically determined and your software can configure any value. It is, however, recommended to configure 38600 baud in your applications.
