Updating Firmware via the Emergency Page

If updating the firmware via the regular method (the page) does not work, you can use the Emergency Firmware Update page. This page is specifically intended for situations where the standard update method fails.

Steps for an emergency update:

  1. Open the Emergency Firmware Update page. You can access it by entering the following URL in your browser: http://<IP-adress-of-autopilot>/emergency

  2. Select the firmware file (.tcz). Click the ‘Choose File’ button and browse to the correct.tcz-file on your computer. This file is usually sent to you by email.

  3. Start the update. Click ‘Upload and Update’ to upload the file and start the update process.

  4. Wait for the update to complete. Do not interrupt this process. The system will automatically restart once the update is complete.

Note: Only use this method if the standard update procedure does not work. Make sure to use the correct firmware file to avoid damaging the system.
