Rudder Calibration
The rudder position is currently not necessary for steering behavior, you can use the rudder position to limit the movement of the rudder, but this is not necessary in combination with the Pcnautic TillerDrive because it is equipped with limit switches.
To prevent the rudder position from blocking the maximum movement in combination with the Pcnautic TillerDrive, "servo.min_max_rudder_fault Active" is disabled by default!
If you only want the rudder angle display, you can leave it turned off.
If you need the rudder position to limit the maximum movement/turn, switch it on!
For example, set the Rudder Range to 30 degrees
Klick on reset
Use the arrow keys on the ControlHead to center the rudder and then press centered
Use the left arrow key to move the rudder completely to starboard so that you steer to port and press port range
Use the right arrow key to move the rudder completely to port so that you steer to starboard and press starboard range
Your rudder position has now been calibrated, if the extreme position is reached you can only move in the opposite direction.
