# MotorController

{% hint style="info" %}
After your order, we ask [seven questions](/autopilot/content-pcnautic-autopilot-set.md#after-ordering-you-have-to-answer-the-following-questions) regarding the installation. [Please read these questions carefully first!](/autopilot/content-pcnautic-autopilot-set.md#after-ordering-you-have-to-answer-the-following-questions)

The set is fully tested and delivered plug & play. We recommend reviewing the [Quick Start Guide](/autopilot/quick-start-guide.md) beforehand for a smooth start.
{% endhint %}

The Motor Controller is typically placed close to the socket — usually in the cockpit locker.

**Connections and mounting instructions:**

The **green screw connectors are plugs!**

* The green screw terminals are plug connectors.\
 Hold the green connector and gently pull it out — the cables have some slack.
* Once the connectors are removed, you can unscrew the cable glands.\
 Then push the cables inward from the top (where the connectors were).\
 This will create enough space to loosen — and later re-tighten — the terminal screws.
* After that, fully remove the cables.\
 You can now neatly pre-mount everything and then correctly route the cables.
