Some NMEA routers or systems do not accept NMEA data sent from the Autopilot. In that case, the Autopilot must reach out to the other system to receive NMEA data — this is called working as an NMEA data client. This applies, for example, to the Quark-elec QK-A032 NMEA Converter.
You can configure the Autopilot as an NMEA data client under the section on the page. Enter the IP address and port number of the relevant NMEA system and click 'Submit'. The Autopilot will then attempt to establish the NMEA data connection.
